Talladega Computing Society is a student-run RSO that brings students together to study computer science and put ideas into practice. We share learning resources, work on projects, and help one another build a foundation in computing, AI, and machine learning at Talladega College.

Our recommended next step after CS50x: Berkeley’s Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs. Deepen your understanding of abstraction, recursion, and how programs are organized before moving on to CS229.

Our teaching follows the foundations covered in CS50, then introduces AI/ML. Complete CS50x first, then Berkeley’s CS61A. Before CS229, also prepare linear algebra, calculus, and probability; CS61A builds programming foundations and does not replace that math preparation. These are external learning resources; the Society is not affiliated with Harvard, UC Berkeley, or Stanford.
