Information you submit

When you submit a project, we store your name, email address, project title, GitHub repository, optional demo or video link, description, submission date, and review status. We use these details to review your work, manage the showcase, and contact you about your submission.

What appears on the website

After approval, your name, project title, description, and submitted links may appear in the showcase, as agreed in the submission form. Your email address is available to authorized reviewers and is not included in the public project listing. Please do not include passwords or private information in your description or linked repository.

Storage and services

The website uses OpenAI Sites hosting and a Cloudflare D1 database. Hosting providers may process technical information needed to operate and protect the website. When submission confirmations are enabled, Brevo processes the recipient name and email address, project title, and submission reference to send a transactional receipt. This does not subscribe you to marketing. Google Fonts supplies the typeface and receives requests from your browser. Links to GitHub, YouTube, Google Maps, and other websites are governed by those services’ own policies. The Society has not added advertising or analytics trackers.

Retention and requests

Submissions remain stored until a reviewer deletes them. Hiding a project removes it from the showcase but retains its submission record. To request a correction, removal from display, or deletion, use the contact details in the footer with your submission reference or project title. We may ask for information to confirm that the submission is yours.
